Congratulations to Isaiah Markovsky (2015 Under 10s) for winning the “Player of the Program” award at the Elite Summer Training Program run recently by Dynamic Footy Skills.
Isaiah took part of AFL Draft Combine testing where he ranked #1st in the beep test reaching level 10.9 and 4th in the 20m sprint achieving 3.6 sec.
“The ‘Player of the Program’ trophy that is awarded at the end of the Elite Summer Training Program encapsulates this philosophy, focusing on what we refer to as the “3 x A’s”; Ability, Ambition and Attitude. Isaiah is obviously a talented young player, but more importantly he showed a great desire to improve and was extremely coachable throughout the program. We hope to see Isaiah and many more Macleod juniors who are looking to ‘Get the Edge’ at our upcoming Elite Pre-Season Training Program.” – Jarrad Carey – DFS Head Coach
In addition, brothers Roland (under 10) and Earl (under 9) DiCesare also rated highly during the summer program. Roland was in the top 5% with a beep test score of 9.6. Isaiah, Roland and Earl all did the club proud in the match day grand finale by being in the best players for their teams and getting special mentions from their respective coaches.
It’s great to see the boys working hard on their footy during the off-season, and achieving results that put them into an elite group.
Well done boys!
