Playing fees for the 2017 season have been set at $210 per player.  We are also offering an introductory registration fee of $50 players registering for our YJFL Girls competition as we kick off our first season in that division.  As an added bonus, ALL PLAYERS will receive a FREE Macleod JFC sports bag as part of their registration payment!

Macleod JFC works hard to keep fees low for all members.  These fees are used solely to operate that club, with all funds going towards the operating costs incurred as a football club.  These costs include:

  • Fees payable to the Yarra Junior Football League
  • Player insurance
  • Umpire Fees
  • Operating costs including gas, electricity, and water
  • Banyule Council Fees
  • Player uniforms
  • Match-day and training equipment including footballs, coaching boards, officials bibs, cones, and other various items
  • Catering of regular family nights and player events

After a strong 2016 season, we are looking to further build on that success and further grow our club.  The 2017 will see the introduction of girls football at MJFC for the first time, so we’d love to see as many girls as possible come along and be part of our inaugural season.  This is a terrific opportunity to help develop team from the ground up, in a family friendly club, with a strong focus on coach and player development.

We will also be working closely with the Macleod Senior Football Club throughout 2017, and have a number of other initiatives already underway both on and off the field to ensure we are a strong club.

If thats not enough, Macleod JFC has also developed SIX current AFL listed players, including 2015 All Australian and Essendon champion – Michael Hurley.

So come on… be part of Macleod JFC in 2017!
