Macleod JFC is proud to announce we will be fielding all-girls teams for the very first time in season 2017! This presents a unique opportunity for interested girls to be part of our inaugural season, and be part of what promises to form an important component for our club going forward!
Thanks to all those who attended the 2016 Annual General Meeting of Macleod JFC. Along with the presentation of the annual report, the election of the 2017 committee was conducted, and we also had some great discussion around a number of items from this year and moving forward.
Ahead of our Annual General Meeting on November 9th (starting 7:30pm), we are now calling for nominations for all committee roles for the 2017 season.
Join us at Macleod Park on Sunday 11th September for our 2016 Presentation Day. The day will include a BBQ lunch, and free rides and activities for the kids. All players from season 2016 will also receive an award!
Welcome back to a Preliminary Final edition of Macleod JFC history. This week we head back to 2011. With four teams still in the premiership race, the optimism at the ‘Nest’ was high. The Under 12’s, in Brown division, won their first semi-final against Park Orchards and took on the loser of the second semi-final Fitzroy 1.
