Under 15

Brief history:

I have been involved with the Macleod Junior football club for some years now as a past player and coach of all age groups from under 9’s through to the oldest age group Colts (Under 17) in this time I have been fortunate enough to see a lot of talented footballers go on to play at all levels of football – AFL, VFL & and at division 1 of local senior football, I have lived in Macleod for most of my life and both my sons played at the club also throughout their junior football before moving on to play at the Macleod Senior football club. My wife also has been involved with both the junior & senior clubs  as a head trainer for many years. As a family we have been very privileged and proud to say we are part of the Macleod Junior Football club and would love to see new faces at the club to enjoy the atmosphere and friendships that can be created.

2020 SEASON FIXTURE:  Season starts on April 19 2020

A message from Jamie Boland – coach of Macleod JFC Under 15 for 2020:

I am pleased to announce that the Macleod Junior Football Club have appointed me as the coach of the under 15’s for season of 2020, therefore I would like to extend an invitation to join us for preseason training on Tuesday 4th of February at Winsor Reserve located on Somers Avenue Macleod starting at 5PM.

 As the coach of the under 15’s I will be focusing on preparing you for the next level in your football pathway by improving the skills of each player with the assistance of some talented personal that will be on board throughout the year.

Training nights conducted for each session will go for approximately 90 minutes per session; it would be great to see you attend as many sessions as possible as this can be the foundation for season ahead.

 Please feel free to bring along a mate who might be interested in playing football for M.J.F.C.

 All players attending training will be required to bring the following to each training session.

  1. Football jumper (AFL, Local Footy, NRL) are some of the examples
  2. Tee Shirt any colour
  3. Runners
  4. Hat
  5. Sunscreen
  6. Water Bottle

                            NO FOOTBALL BOOTS ARE TO BE WORN
